Medical Research is Very Important in Clinical Work by Dr O.C. Ogun

A 2-day workshop sponsored by Kings College, London in conjunction with the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Yaba, Lagos was held in the hospital recently.  The Workshop had its theme as “Current Progress in Genetics “Where Do We Go from Here?”

While welcoming participants to the training, the Medical Director, Dr. Oluwayemi Ogun reiterated that medical research /evidence base medicine is very important in Clinical work.

She urged the professional team in the hospital to compile a compendium of past researches carried out in the hospital for presentation during the 110^th anniversary of the hospital coming up in October.  She advised participants to be very attentive to the resource persons because this workshop has been organized to make them better Clinicians.

The Workshop was attended by medical personnel from within and outside the hospital.
