The Sleep disorders unit of the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital (FNPH), Yaba held its maiden sleep disorders seminar on the 12th of July, 2017 at the conference hall of the FNPH Yaba, Lagos. The event was declared open by the Medical Director of the Hospital in person of Dr. (Mrs.) O.C. Ogun in company of the top management committee members of the Hospital.

The facilitators during the one day event were Dr Olatunji Olaoye (US based sleep physician) and Dr Adefemi Adeoye (a psychiatrist and sleep physician who recently completed his clinical fellowship in sleep medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada). Participants were drawn from within and outside the Hospital including Dr Olotu (Medical Director, Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Uselu).

The Hospital’s sleep disorders unit currently runs its clinic on Tuesdays by noon at the Total Diagnostic Building (opposite the Hospital Library). The sleep Laboratory has also commenced operation at the same location.
